课程介绍About this Program
The Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management degree is specifically designed to provide a broad based education recognising the strong interrelationships between both tourism and hospitality. The Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management - Advanced extends the program with a range of specialist areas and is intended to link potential career paths to the core program. The Honours program is designed for those wishing to focus on research and may, depending on the pass grade, give direct entry into a PhD program.

Applications for admission are considered from candidates who:
Possess a bachelors degree from an AustralianUniversity, or a recognised international equivalent: OR
Five (5) years management or supervisory experience. On the basis of experience, entry is initially into the Graduate Certificate with successful completion providing the opportunity of upgrading into the Masters program.
Entry to any of the specified specialisations is course to assessment by the School of the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
Progression into the Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management ?Advanced is dependant on the student having gained a grade point average of at least 4.0 over the eight courses comprising the Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management. Progression into the Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management with Honours is dependant on the student having gained a grade point average of at least 5.0 over the eight courses comprising the Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management.
International Students - English Language Requirements国际学生语言要求
As well as satisfying the conditions for admission in terms of academic qualifications, international applicants are required to demonstrate that they satisfy the University’s minimum English language proficiency requirements. For entry to the University’s programs in 2004, please refer to the International Office website.
The minimum English language requirements for entry to all coursework postgraduate programs from 2005 are as follows:
A minimum score of 575 on TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); or
A computerised TOEFL score of 237;
A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with no sub-score of less than 6.0; or
No score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (International Second Language Proficiency Rating).

Some programs require a higher level of English proficiency for entry. It is important for prospective students to refer to the program's Admission Requirements above in case the minimum proficiency required is higher than the levels stated in the University’s admission policies.
If you do not meet the University’s specified English language requirements, you may wish to contact the Griffith University English Language Institute (GUELI) to increase your eligibility for entering a GriffithUniversity program. The GUELI offers a number of English language and other courses at both its Brisbane and Gold Coast Branches.
